It asks before it acts, and tells you when it is done.
You stay in charge without standing over it. An agent stops and asks before doing anything that matters, and your phone tells you when it needs you.
It asks first
When an agent wants to change a file, run something or reach outside the folder you gave it, it stops and asks. The question arrives on your phone with enough detail to decide there and then.
- Say yes once
- Or say yes to a kind of thing you are happy not to be asked about again.
- Say no, and why
- Give a reason and the agent changes course.
- Nothing sits waiting
- A conversation waiting on your answer shows at the top of the list.
It tells you
Agent work has long quiet stretches, and watching them defeats the point. Ripul sends a notification when a conversation finishes, when it needs your yes, or when it has hit something it cannot get past.
A glance is enough
On the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, a live update shows what the agent is doing right now, so you can tell whether it is worth getting your phone out.
Good to know
Each conversation starts fresh
Trusting something in one conversation does not quietly trust it everywhere.
Allow notifications when asked
Saying no takes away most of the reason to direct agents from a phone. You can turn them on later in your iPhone's Settings.
Mind the folder
An agent can change what is in the folder you give it. Point it at the project you mean.
Talk to your agents, and have the replies read back.
