When an agent wants to write a file, run a command, or reach outside the folder it was given, it stops and asks. The request arrives on your phone with enough context to make a decision without opening your laptop.
- Approve once, or approve a pattern you are happy to stop being asked about.
- Decline with a reason and the agent adapts rather than repeating itself.
- A waiting approval is surfaced in the sessions list and can notify you, so nothing sits blocked while you are elsewhere.
Each coding agent has its own permission settings on your Mac. Here is where they are and what each one does.
