Extensions your agent writes

Describe what a site should do differently, and install the result into your browser.

3 minute read

Most agents can tell you how to fix a website you do not control. This one can write the extension that fixes it, and then you can install it — into Ripul’s own browser, on the sites you nominate.

  1. Describe itSay which sites it should run on and what it should do. The agent writes it as a browser-extension artefact.
  2. Install itOpen Browser → Extensions and choose it. Nothing installs itself — publishing an extension and running one are separate decisions.
  3. Update it when you want toEach browser keeps the revision it was given. A new version is something you choose to take, not something that arrives.

What it can do

An extension runs inside the real page, with access to the DOM, in its own JavaScript world so it cannot collide with the site’s own code. It can act when the page starts, when it finishes loading, or when it has settled.

Sharing one

An extension can be made public, which lists it under Community extensions for anyone signed in to Ripul. It is still only ever installed by someone choosing it, and making yours private again leaves the copies already installed alone.
